Worshipful Brother Roger Jordan

Master of the Old Cedarians Lodge 2020 - 21

At our Annual Installation Meeting held on Saturday 7th March 2019, WBro. Roger Jordan was installed as the 55th Master of the Old Cedarians Lodge.

The members approved donations of £250 to the Leighton Buzzard Homeless Service to assist with the Food Bank provision and to the COVID-19 Task Force being run by Leighton Linslade Town Council.

The Old Cedarians Lodge  were to host the Federation Of Schools Lodges  meeting in 2021.  Due to the current pandemic this year’s meeting has been deferred until 2021, and as the 2022 hosts are keen to carry over their plans, the Old Cedarians Lodge will now host in 2023.

Roger Jordan WM 2020-21

Freemasons have a long history of supporting the East Anglia Air Ambulance Charity and the Old Cedarians Lodge immediate past Master W Bro M Knight chose it as one of his Charities during his year in office.  Accordingly the Lodge has recently donated £1500 to this very worthwhile cause.

Whilst working in Surrey a member of the public discovered by chance an original Old Cedarians Lodge Founders Jewel. Intial information indicates that it may indeed be the Founding Masters Jewel. We are endeavouring to obtain the return of this beautiful and valuable item to our Lodge and hope to provide more information in due course.

In accordance with the direction of UGLE and to comply with Government Guidance and Regulations during the current COVID 19 Pandemic, the Old Cedarians Lodge is unable to maintain our calendar of regular meetings. But we have strived to maintain contact with our Brethren, ladies and many friends using all available means of communications and more recently by holding online informal meetings.

We await further guidance as to when meetings can resume.

More information will be available from the Lodge Secretary in due course.
