Welcome to the home page of the Old Cedarians Lodge No 8078 on the Register of the United Grand Lodge of England.
We hold formal Lodge meetings four times a year on the second Saturday in March (Installation meeting), May, September and December at the Gables Hall on Wing Road in Leighton Buzzard.

LODGE PROFILE
The Old Cedarians Lodge No. 8078 is a Masonic Lodge located in Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire, under the jurisdiction of the United Grand Lodge of England. Consecrated on April 2, 1966, at Cedars School in Leighton Buzzard, the ceremony was conducted by the Bedfordshire Provincial Grand Master and attended by 183 brethren.
Members continue to honor the school's heritage by wearing the school tie, representing its four houses, and singing the school song in Latin during festive boards. The Lodge meets four times annually on the second Saturday of March (Installation meeting), May, September, and December. The Saturday meetings are very helpful to all those members who are constrained by work commitments during weekdays.The Gables Masonic Hall, also known as The Gables Hall, is located at 132 Wing Road, Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire, LU7 2NN.
The Old Cedarians Lodge is delighted to have committed and engaged members who participate regularly in meetings, rituals, and events, creating a vibrant atmosphere. There is a strong sense of brotherhood, with social gatherings and festive boards, ensuring members enjoy their time together and form lasting bonds. Members perform rituals with sincerity, precision, humour and understanding which connects members to the deeper principles of Freemasonry, fostering personal growth and unity. Regular Lodge of Instruction evenings are planned to support the members and provide extra time to socialise. Supporting local charities, organising events, or being involved in the broader community the Masonic values of charity and service. Regular charitable activities and contributions demonstrate the lodge’s commitment to the principles of compassion and giving.
